You earn Honor Points as you level up which you can use to get favors the form Hokage.Here's a list of things you can get from the Hokage:
The Hokage offers you Ryo (money)
+ $???? Extra Ryo for 10 Honor Points (amount depends on your level)
The Hokage offers you a full Chakra replenishment
Fully restores for 10 Honor Points
The Hokage offers you a full Stamina replenishment
Fully restores for 10 Honor Points
The Hokage offers you a full Health replenishment.
Full Health for 10 Honor Points
The Hokage offers you extra Team members.
+ 2 Extra Team Member for 20 Honor Points
The Hokage offers you Bonus (upgrade) points.
+ 5 Extra Bonus for 20 Honor Points
The Hokage offers to change your Name!
Name Change for 30 Honor Points
The Hokage offers to change your Elemental!
Change for 50 Honor Points
The Hokage offers you an Item:
Wind Shuriken (may vary)
I think that the best place to use your Honor Points is on Chakra replenishment. More chakra means more you can gain more experience from missions and learning jutsu.
On the Hokage Offers you extra team members:
